What is the function of water purifier filter T33?

The T33 filter element is a post-activated carbon filter element in the water purifier. It is usually used as 

the last stage of the filtration system. It is mainly used to deeply purify water quality, improve taste and 

ensure drinking water safety. Its core functions include:

1. Adsorption of foreign colors and odors: It uses high-quality coconut shell activated carbon with high 

adsorption capacity, which can effectively remove residual chlorine, organic pollutants, foreign colors and

 odors (such as bleaching powder, earthy smell, etc.) in the water, making the water clearer and sweeter.

2. Inhibit bacterial growth: Some T33 filter elements add antibacterial materials (such as silver-loaded act

ivated carbon) to inhibit the reproduction of microorganisms in the filter element, avoid secondary pollu

tion, and ensure the hygiene of the water.

3. Fine filtration: Further intercept impurities such as tiny particles and colloids to improve the purity of 

water quality. It is especially suitable for RO reverse osmosis water purifiers to make up for the trace imp

urities that may remain in the RO membrane.

4. Adjust pH value (some models): A few high-end T33 filter elements contain mineral components, whic

h can fine-tune the pH value of the water to make it closer to weak alkalinity and improve drinking comf

ort.

Applicable scenarios:

T33 is usually used at the end of RO machines and ultrafiltration machines, and is used in combination 

with PP cotton, pre-activated carbon, RO membrane, etc. The service life is about 6-12 months (depend

ing on water quality and usage). Its core advantage is to improve taste and safety, and it is one of the key

 components of direct drinking water purification systems.
